Orangeskies – Are you Addicted to Life and Music?

To talk about the favorite track of the moment for my friend Yellow Fang, that’s Beep Street by Squarepusher alias Thomas Jenkinson, nothing’s better then rewriting the conversation that me and him had few days ago on Skype just about it, truly re-write below:

Orangeskies: yes, in fact it’s very cool
OS: even for me that I’m not an electronic fan
OS: it’s a real amazing composition
OS: it has something solemn
Y.F.: It’s not so electronic
Y.F.: it’s a jazz drumkit sampled to make a drum’n bass base
OS: well, ok
Y.F.: the bass is truly played
OS: This is very interesting
OS: for you it’s more a song to listen to or to dance to?
Y.F.: I guess that the melodies should be all played with synths but with a sound that reminds of acoustic instruments
OS: but you told me that playing live he’s also very “analog”
