You’re Speaking My Language, Baby
Sembra che questa stagione primavera-estate voglia portare a Roma tutti i miei sex symbol musicali. Dopo Cristina Martinez, il 9 del mese prossimo c’è all’Alpheus Juliette Lewis, con i suoi New Romantics (ex Juliette and the Licks).
This Spring-summer season seems to wanna bring to Rome all my musical sex symbols. After Cristina Martinez, on June 9 we’ll have Juliette Lewis live at the Alpheus, with her New Romantics (former Juliette and the Licks). Well, their music is not just always the best you can find around, but I really think I want to see Juliette from close, and I want it from the first time I watched to “Natural Born Killers” and the “Cape Fear” Lolita; a Noemi Letizia ante litteram, just to talk about something that is really trendy nowadays. I wonder when they’ll exhume Nico and send her with the Velvet for a concert here in the Eternal City, just to make me happy? I hope soon, really soon, before the nausea forces me to escape to Finland.
You’re speaking my language baby
You’re speaking my language baby
You’re speaking my language baby
You could be my Romeo
All the boys and all of the girls
Push it up shake it up to the world
I wanna feed you like a bush of baby birds
Put your mind, make sure that you heard
Another week of less allowance you know
You think you’re winning when you’re winning to lose.
